Amigos de la Tierra México: Protecting Our Environment Together
"Amigos de la Tierra México," is an important environmental protection program that actively encourages the México community in safeguarding our national environment. This program aims to raise awareness and take action to preserve Mexico's rich biodiversity and maintain a sustainable environment for current and future generations.
The main purpose of "Amigos de la Tierra México" is to promote ecological consciousness and encourage positive changes in daily habits that can significantly contribute to environmental conservation. By collaborating with local communities and individuals, the program wants to protect ecosystems and reduce pollution and the impact of climate change.
Five Recommendations for Environmental Protection:
1. Reduce One-Use Plastics:
To protect our oceans, we must reduce the use of one-use plastics like plastic bags and bottles. These plastics take hundreds of years to decompose and damage marine ecosystems. Instead, you should bring reusable bags and containers when shopping, helping to minimize plastic waste.
2. Conserve Energy:
My experiencies as a volunteer in "Amigos de la Tierra México."
When I arrived, the weather was quite warm and sunny. I had never been to this part of México before, so the scenery was breathtaking. We have already been to some beautiful natural spots in Estado de México, like the forests and rivers.
As for our volunteer activities, we have already done three exciting things. First, we cleaned a local park, removing trash and making it look beautiful again. Then, we organized an campaign in my community, talking to the people about the importance of environmental protection. Lastly, we planted trees in a nearby forest to help combat pollution.
However, there are still so many things we haven't done yet. We haven't explored all the amazing hiking trails in this area, and we haven't visited the nearby schools to educate students about the environment. We also haven't had the chance to participate in wildlife conservation projects :(
But at least, in the following days, we plan to clean up a nearby beach to ensure it stays perfect, and we also plan to create a community garden to promote sustainable living. I'm exciting about what lies ahead, and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've already had. I've never felt more connected to my community and the environment, and I can't wait to continue making a positive impact !
